No Need To Quit Your Day Job …Just YET!
In fact, you can start an online business in your spare time, ensuring you still have an income while you build momentum with your online ventures.
This might be the perfect way to start for those of you who are new to this way of making money, or for those of you who might be a little skeptical about whether this actually works or not (like I was in the beginning).
The old (brick and mortar) way of starting a business has now changed. You don’t have to quit your day job and pour huge amounts of money and time into something that may not give you a return on your investment (ROI) for a number of years to come.
It is now possible to start building a business on the side, ensuring you still have a regular paycheque coming in. One of the biggest benefits of starting this way is that you can start learning the ins and outs of entrepreneurship before you quit your day job.
Once you have matched (or overtaken) your weekly pay cheque on a regular basis, you can then “Leave The Job Grind Behind!” You can then spend as much time as you like on your business building it further. By this stage too, you will have a good understanding of how to scale your business to produce the results you want and need.
If you decided to keep your online business as a side hustle only, it’s still a great way of building a passive income (on the side). Ultimately though having a passive income to replace your job is the only real way of building long term wealth. While you continue to trade your time for money it’s almost impossible to build real wealth.
Check out the image below to see where you fit in. Most people are an “E” or an “S”, trading time for money. But where you need to be, to build real wealth, is a “B” or an “I”, leveraging your time, money, and resources.
I started my online business while working a 50-60 hour week. I’m not saying that was easy, it certainly had it’s challenges (especially on my time) but it’s doable. It would have been impossible for me to do the same with a brick and mortar business, and a full-time job!
The online technologies we have available to us these days are amazing (and only getting better every day), so getting started is now a relatively easy process. The sooner you can get yourself started the better. There is no wrong or right time and the risks are actually far fewer than if you wanted to start a brick and mortar business.
One benefit is that no matter what your local economy is like (especially if it’s not so good), is that you’re not restricted to that one location or economy, as you can market yourself and your product or service anywhere in the world, and there’s always a booming economy happening somewhere in the world.
Also, you don’t have to rent or buy a premises, you don’t have to worry about hiring staff and paying wages. You don’t have to worry about maintenance or utility costs or even purchasing stock these days.
Usually, the biggest cost to running an online business (at least to begin with) is marketing and advertising, but even that is a fraction of what your startup costs would be to get a brick and mortar business up and running.
Don’t know anything about marketing or advertising? And what about the cost of setting up a website I hear you ask! Well, there are many options out there to cover those, that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Again, when you compare it to a brick and mortar business there is really no comparison, especially for anyone (like me too in the beginning) who have limited resources to play with.
So, if you’ve ever thought about starting your own business, quitting your job or starting a new career, then now is the time. There really isn’t any reason or excuse anymore for putting it off!
So many people all over the word make (legitimate) money online with real online businesses. So why couldn’t that be you as well??
Do yourself a favour, and at least educate yourself on what’s out there and look at what’s possible…you might be pleasantly surprised.
Follow the exact steps I took to get my business up and running, while still working a 60 hour week!
There is literally everything you need at your fingertips these days, so don’t put it off any longer!
One small step now could lead to massive changes in your life.
Here’s to your success.
